Uniapac will join the COMECE working group to express opinion upon the soon-to-be-delivered European regulation on SME's. Uniapac will join the COMECE to organize their European Social Week in late 2008. Active member of IXE (the Christian Initiative for Europe, we hosted their dinner in Brussels on February 23rd), we will participate to a document to Christians to inform on the opportunities and challenges for Europe at the occasion of the next Parlementary elections. In addition, Uniapac supports the initiatives of Together for Europe. A Young Christian Executive European Team is under formation. Future European Members We have established contacts with HUKG (Croatian Association of Catholic Businessmen) We have establisehd contacts with Christians Associations in Nordic coutries (Finland, Norway, Sweeden, Denmark), and Russia. This will extend our Ecumenical dimension. We are going deeper in Austria and Lithuania. Our President José Ignacio Mariscal has met with regional business executives in June 6th and 7th in Hong-Kong to envisage official membership and participation to our CSR movemenet, as well as in June 8th and 9th in Manila. The CBEG in Thaïland has a new President : Prachuab Trinikorn.
