5. ACEGE: Businessman and Manager 's Code of Ethics

ACEGE (the Portuguese Association member of UNIAPAC) achieved a very important work by defining and proposing to all businessmen and managers of Portugal a "Code of Ethics". This reflection met a great interest in medias and in public opinion and this raised a constructive debate within the Portuguese civil society. UNIAPAC Europe was at one point associated to this reflection through a specific European Workshop with other European Associations that set up in July 2004 in Lisbon. The work is now achieved and ACEGE started proposing to the Portuguses business leaders to personnally commit on this Code by signing a public declaration about this on the occasion of a specific event in October 2005? Thanks to the kindness of ACEGE, an English version is now available and is proposed to the reflection of all business leaders through the world. Please be invited then to download this document and circulate it as you like. UNIAPAC will be very pleased to receive your personal reactions to this document, so do not hesitate to send us your possible remarks.
